Empty Well 02:39
In the Angeleno forest, high upon a hill A fire is a climbing, the winds of change won't still But the water's in the desert and it's getting mighty high If I don't get out there, then I think that I might die For a stone falls deep in an empty well Deep down among the canyons of a long forgotten place Lies the key to the survival of this misbegotten place But it's crushed beneath the boulders of our stony foolish ways So we're doomed to wander wastelands carves by empty waterways The sound echoes long in an empty well Water's in the well Plenty left for sale By the clowns all a grinning At the jokers stuck in hell Parched land is cracking where the waters have all drained We all will too without getting us some rain So hunker down, sprinklers on—a storm in coming soon You might find a tumbleweed, or maybe a monsoon But time's run dry in an empty well

By the sea grew an old twisted tree And to it I knew where to set my sail It would stand through weather and wars And proudly it stood and wore it scars There I sailed on my old rusty boat With goblet in hand, drinking my whiskey and wine Played my cards and I had lost I played fair and straight, still I was counting my loss Let me grow like that old twisted tree, tall and proud On the coast of Bantry My heart is strong but my body is weathered and worn Let me stand like that old twisted tree with my wounds In the open to see Let the mist of the sea set you free In the waves, I was tossed and I turned But I held to the mast and I saw The oak on its perch—holding strong And it called me home through the stars But sinking, I fell steadfast neath the waves Towards the doom for which I was made Behind my closed lid, I looked on the face Of the old twisted tree still fast in its place Let me grow like that old twisted tree, tall and proud On the coast of Bantry My heart is strong but my body is weathered and worn Let me stand like that old twisted tree with my wounds In the open to see Let the mist of the sea set you free Let the mist of the sea set you free

Silver Sea 03:01
Love, oh, love I have no gold Never have I had the need For you, my love Are the riches I need To set my poor soul free Your voice carries on the wind Calling me home My ship has set its sail Your gentle eyes Are as pure as the moon Setting on a silver sea

If only I could hear your call
We could truly be
 One across the brazen sea
Until then, what may be? Love, oh, love I have no gold Never have I had the need For you, my love Are the riches I need To set my poor soul free For you, my love Are the riches I need To set my poor soul free

Injustice lies deep in the hearts of all men Buried right on the top as the world began All filled with great sorrow, we let our hearts break As we listen and nod to the heated debate Of unlearned men who put forth a foe That we all thought was buried a long time ago He's only illusion, but the joker came late And the unlearned men serve his ghost on a plate There's a hammer to swing And a bell that needs rung If freedom be free Then it's got to be won By good hearted folk From all the world round Who've heard the great call Of the sundering sound Rule is made simple with a comedy on fire That deceives with its lighthearted take on the liar Call it out straight and its kingship is through But there's no fun in sinning when there's nothing to do So we lap it up plain, and we take it as truth Then hope we don't kill everyone neath the roof It's easy, you see, if you let the fool bake But he'll throw you in too, in his foolish man's cake REFRAIN Stand up tall and proud, and look deep inside You'll see you're still there, but just barely alive Wake up that good ghost and bring him to life Perhaps only then we'll be free from our knife REFRAIN

Forever Young (free) 02:40
May God Bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
 And climb on every rung
 May you stay forever young
May you stay forever young

May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you
 May you always be courageous
 Stand upright and be strong
 May you stay forever young
 May you stay forever young
May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
May your song always be sung
 May you stay forever young
 May you stay forever young

Forever young, forever young

May you stay forever young
